Mother & Daughter 10 years later

Candice Johnson and her mother Socorro Muciño shared a tent at the GAAF 10 years ago. Candice has since participated in multiple fests.

Candice is a local bartender, painter and illustrator with a focus on Chicago cityscapes and various black and white imagery.
She has painted various murals in Rogers Park and in bars around the city, including Rogers Park Social and Jarvis Square Tavern.
Her work includes hand painted bottles and wood - originals and prints will be available.

Socorro is an Evanston printmaker working out of the Noyes Center.
A retired CPS Art teacher, she’s been surrounded by Art her whole life.
She will have hand-pressed prints available as well as handmade aprons available.
