Appliqué is an old quilting technique of layering and stitching pieces of fabric to make pictures. My goal is to make this practice feel new by using felt, bright colors, and contemporary imagery. I make hand-sewn and framed felt appliqué art inspired by sci-fi, textbook illustrations, and nature. I also make a range of affordable products like catnip cat toys, ornaments, and cards.
