As an artist, my work reflects the celebration of life that I see everyday in the beautiful souls of young Black girls and women. Mostly working in acrylic paint on canvas, my paintings range from figurative to abstract and a blending of the two. Influenced by Afrofuturism, I incorporate bright splashes of color and sharp directional lines that are embodied with movement and carry you across the canvas.
