(Seaglass + Flowers) x Resin = Waveflowers
Upcycled art w/ a deep love of healing waters

Waveflowers are one-of-a-kind mixed media art pieces comprised of sun-kissed beachglass, driftwood, and real flowers upcycled and captured in resin to form elemental art pieces for your home or office, or to share with others.

Over the years, industry and human behavior has contributed to the pollution of our precious water resources. Beachcombing, while supporting personal growth of the mind and spirit, is also a respectful exercise in cleaning up the beach. Instead of moving the waste from the lake to the landfill, we give the broken glass, ceramics, and other interesting refuge new life as individual art.

Beachcombing has been my "refresh button," and my adventures have taken me to Nova Scotia, California, North Carolina, and more. Though the shores of Lake Michigan is where I'm most at home. (Loyola Beach, where it all began; and Rogers Park, where I called home for 9 years before moving to North Kenwood.)

Glenwood Ave. has always been the place for northside artists to find inspiration and acceptance. This festival keeps that vision a reality.
