I create pottery that is ideal for functional use--mugs, bowls, vases, pie plates, wine cups, oil/vinegar bottles, etc. My pottery is made to be used, loved and enjoyed. It is all dishwasher, microwave, and oven safe and made to withstand regular everyday use. My work is inspired by finding the balance between simplicity, beauty and functionality. I also make Chicago-specific and Rogers Park-specific pieces. When I originally moved to Chicago, I started off in Rogers Park for many years, and it has a special place in my heart!
